AFP reporter Jerome Taylor reported on November 30 that a police spokesperson in Thailand said Harris Binotti, 25, who is wanted in connection to the death of fellow British teacher Gary Ferguson, has not entered Thailand since mid-October – before Ferguson’s death.
Binotti was previously reported to have flown to Thailand on a Myanmar Airways International flight on November 5, about 12 hours after a fight and screams were heard by neighbors coming from his flat in downtown Yangon. Ferguson’s body was discovered the next day.
Yangon police also told reporters that they were cooperating with Interpol in the hunt for Binotti, but Binotti’s name remains missing from the Interpol database of wanted individuals.
